Alan Augustinovich, CFA has over 10 years of international investment banking, corporate finance and industry experience with Deutsche Bank, BMO Nesbitt Burns, Centennial Capital Advisors and Interoptica Ltd. Based in Toronto, Canada, Alan serves as Senior Partner for Centennial Capital Advisors, a firm specializing in valuation advisory and corporate finance projects. Alan also holds the position of President at Interoptica Ltd., a large Canadian optical laboratory and lens distributor. Preceding this, Mr. Augustinovich held the position of Vice President at Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Finance team in Moscow, Russia, where he oversaw numerous M&A and corporate finance mandates spanning a wide range of industries. While serving as a Senior Analyst for BMO Nesbitt Burns’ Investment Banking department in Toronto, Mr. Augustinovich was involved in numerous valuation and modelling assignments. Alan holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and graduated with high distinction with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
Karl Czarnecki, CA has over 11 years of international experience in investment banking, financial services and business development acquired with leading institutions in Canada (KPMG, BMO Nesbitt Burns) and Europe (Raiffeisen Bank, Redknee). In 2006, Karl began offering financial modelling and valuation training while concurrently providing capital advisory services (Mergers and Acquisitions, IPO’s, company valuation and strategic consulting projects) to numerous companies primarily in the European Union. Previously, Mr. Czarnecki held the position of a Commercial Director (Business Development) and Controller for the EMEA division of Redknee – a global telecommunications company, and a senior analyst position with the Forest Products M&A Group of BMO Nesbitt Burns in Toronto. Karl is a Chartered Accountant and graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
